It’s easy! Just send an inquiry with what you’re looking to capture and a general timeframe. I’ll share a few available dates, and once you choose one, I’ll send over a contract and deposit invoice. Once those are completed, your session is officially booked!

Once your deposit is paid and the contract is signed, I’ll send you my digital location guide with all my favorite spots around Austin, (with the pros and cons of each). You’re welcome to pick from the guide or suggest your own spot. For 1-hour sessions, locations more than 30 minutes from central Austin may be subject to a travel fee. (For weddings, of course, we’ll be shooting at your venue.)

Yes! I know being in front of the camera can feel a little awkward, but don’t worry—I’ve got you. I’ll guide you with fun, natural prompts and pose ideas to help you feel at ease and capture candid, genuine moments.

No. After our session, I personally go through and cull the images, selecting the very best moments so you don’t have to sort through them. From there, I carefully crop, straighten, refine backgrounds, and edit each image, shaping the gallery so it feels cohesive, intentional, and beautifully polished. You’ll receive your fully edited gallery in my signature style. I don’t deliver RAW or unedited files. The images on my website are a great example of the look and feel your gallery will have. My goal is for you to simply open your gallery and experience a collection of images that already feel finished and thoughtfully curated.

Yes! I have plenty of fun props we can use during your session—like a picnic basket with flowers, a cozy blanket, and more. For maternity shoots, I also bring along adorable onesies with little strings and clips to hang them for cute shots. You’re absolutely welcome to bring any personal props you’d like as well!

We’ll keep an eye on the forecast all the way up to about a few hours before your session. If it looks like rain, I’ll work with you to reschedule to a better day. Otherwise—sunny, overcast, or anything in between—we’ll roll with it! All kinds of light can make for beautiful photos.

I’m based in Austin, and most of my 1-hour sessions take place in or around the city, but I’m always open to traveling to nearby locations! If you’re hoping to shoot a little farther out, feel free to reach out and we’ll see what’s possible. Locations more than 30 minutes from central Austin may be subject to a travel fee.For weddings, I’m available to travel and would love to hear about your plans, whether you’re getting married in Austin, somewhere else in Texas, or beyond! Travel details and fees will vary depending on the location and package. Just include the details in your inquiry and we’ll go from there! :)

I understand that things come up! I’m happy to reschedule your session at no extra charge as long as you let me know at least a week in advance. When reschedules happen within that one-week window, it becomes really difficult for me to rebook that time with another client—especially since I often turn people away once a date is reserved. Because of that, any reschedule request made within 7 days of your session is treated as a cancellation. In those cases, the deposit is nonrefundable, and a new deposit would be required to book a future date.
